ASTA designed and delivered a purpose-built operational intelligence platform integrated with the operator’s existing data infrastructure. The build took 11 weeks from kickoff to live deployment.
Fault Detection and Instant Diagnosis The centrepiece of the system is a fault intelligence layer that surfaces a diagnostic popup the moment an asset manager logs in. The popup shows: the active fault, the most likely root cause based on cross-referenced BMS and environmental data, the recommended corrective action, and the estimated revenue or availability impact if left unresolved. No manual cross-referencing required.
The system currently monitors for 40+ fault signatures including cell imbalance, HVAC anomalies, thermal drift, communication failures, and State of Charge deviations.
Degradation Tracking and Warranty Engine ASTA built a degradation intelligence module that plots projected vs actual capacity fade across all 5 sites. The system uses AI to flag deviations from the expected degradation curve and surfaces the likely contributing factors — duty cycle, temperature exposure, depth of discharge patterns.
When degradation behaviour breaches warranty-relevant thresholds, the system automatically generates a claim-ready document containing timestamped performance data, deviation plots, and a plain-language narrative summary — ready to send to the OEM without additional preparation.
Automated Reporting The platform generates daily operational digests for the O&M team and monthly performance reports formatted for management, investors, and lenders. Reports include availability, round-trip efficiency, revenue performance, LCOS trending, and degradation status across the portfolio. Generation is fully automated — no manual assembly.
Portfolio and Site Dashboards A clean multi-tenant dashboard gives the operator a portfolio-level view with drill-down to site and asset level. All five sites are visible in a single pane with live status, active alerts prioritised by severity and financial impact, and trend data accessible without switching platforms.
